  • Day 1: Durban / Drakensberg

    On arrival in Durban, you will be met by your guide and head into the majestic Southern Drakensberg Mountains. Visit the Valley of 1000 Hills on route to Drakensberg. You will be driven through Hillcrest which is one of the upmarket suburbs of KZN to the reconstructed Zulu village. Here you will be dazzled by a rich cultural zulu dance show and the awesome back drops that lie in the valley of a thousand hills.

  • Day 2: Drakensberg

    Today enjoy a full day of hiking at the magnificent Southern Drakensberg Mountains. There are many hikes on offer.

  • Day 3: Drakensberg – Sani-pass

    This morning after breakfast and check-out, visit the 300 feet Howick Falls, and visit the Nelson Mandela Capture sight, Nelson Mandela Capture site a cultural and historical exhibition that is situated at the site at which Nelson Mandela was apprehended for his Anti-Apartheid activism acts in August 1952. Continuing through the Southern Midlands Meander Route, arriving at your hotel in the afternoon.

  • Day 4: Lesotho

    Have your passports ready as you depart for your Sani-pass Lesotho tour(Can be booked through the hotel). The Tour departs at 09h30 and takes approx. 2.5 hours to reach the summit, stopping at breath taking view sites along the Sani Pass and the two border posts i.e. The South African Border Control and Lesotho Border Control. Once at the Top of the Sani Pass, we enjoy lunch at the highest Pub in Africa - The Sani Mountain Lodge. Lunch varies from R55 - R150pp depending on your preference from the menu. After lunch the Tour continues into a living Basotho village, where our experienced mountain guide will interest you on Lesotho and its people - the hardy mountainous Basotho folk. Traditional beer and homemade bread offered on request. We wind down the Sani Pass after this cultural experience and arrive back in Underberg between 16h00- 16h30 depending on the wildlife spotted along the way.

    This morning we depart for Durban for your flight home.
